Every step of the conference process, from submission to presentation. For questions: usbedconference@gmail.com
Submission and Registration
1. Fill in the paper submission form completely and send it with your abstract or full text attached.
2. You will be told within 5 days whether your submission has been accepted, at the e-mail address given on the form. Please wait for this reply.
3. If your submission is accepted, a signed acceptance letter and payment details are sent by e-mail.

Programme and Presentation
7. Wait for the conference programme to be announced and review it. If any of your details are wrong, e-mail a correction request.
8. If you are attending in person: be at the announced venue by 08:30 on the conference day. Be in the relevant room 15 minutes before your session and give your presentation as directed by the moderator.
For cyber-security reasons, moderators may not allow external drives to be connected to the room computers. E-mail your presentation file to your moderator before the session.
9. If you are attending online: allow for the time difference. Türkiye is in the GMT+3 time zone and all times in the programme follow Turkey time. Joining links are active throughout the day; connect at least 10 minutes before your session and make sure your internet connection is stable.
Certificates and Publication
10. Participants who do not present receive no certificate of attendance, their texts are not published in the conference book and no refund is given.
11. Those who attend in person and present receive their certificate in print. Certificates for online participants are sent by e-mail.
12. The conference book is published once preparations are complete and sent to all participants as a PDF by e-mail.
13. Authors who would rather publish in the USBED Journal than in the conference book may submit their full text to the journal separately. The journal’s publication and review criteria differ markedly from the conference, and the journal gives no guarantee of publishing papers presented at the conference.
