About the Conference
6th USBED/IJSES International Conference on Social and Educational Sciences
The USBED Conference is an international conference bringing together researchers working in the social sciences and the educational sciences. Held annually since 2021, it takes place for the sixth time, hosted by İstanbul Topkapı University.
The conference aims to provide a setting where academics from different countries can share their work, hold interdisciplinary discussions and build research collaborations. Past editions have welcomed participants from more than 60 countries, with international participation exceeding 70%.

WORKING DAYS TO REVIEW
Participation and Review
- You may take part with an abstract or a full text.
- Papers go through blind peer review.
- Review takes at most 5 working days.
- Acceptance letters are issued separately for each author.
- Papers must be presented at the conference.
Format and Language
- Both in-person and online attendance are possible.
- Presentation languages are Turkish and English.
- Translation support is provided.
- Presentations run 8–12 minutes on average.
- Session times follow Turkey time (GMT+3).
Accreditation
The conference meets the criteria for “Associate Professorship Application” and “Academic Incentive” in Türkiye.
Publication Options
Accepted papers are published in the ISBN conference proceedings book. Once the book is prepared it is sent to all participants as a PDF.
Authors who would prefer to publish their full text in a peer-reviewed journal instead of the proceedings book may submit it separately to the USBED Journal. In that case the text is not included in the proceedings book; the journal applies its own review and publication criteria, which differ from the conference, and publication is not guaranteed. The journal is open access and charges no fees.
